He was 2008 BDO British Classic Champion, 2008 England Open Champion and runner-up in the 2008 BDO International Open. He represented Scotland in the 2009 WDF World Cup in the USA. A self-employed handyman, he won the 2005 BDO British Grand Prix. A prolific county player he played American football for the Glasgow Diamonds for 11 years, but retired through injury and has been playing darts ever since.
